Privacy Policy &
Data Governance
We honor the privacy of aspiring cadets. Learn how PhilippinesReviewer manages, secures, and respects your academic simulation data in full compliance with RA 10173.
Scope & Cadet Commitment
PhilippinesReviewer is an independent, open-access preparation platform dedicated to aspiring cadets studying for the Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE) and the Philippine National Police Academy Entrance Examination (PNPAEE).
We operate with strict compliance under Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA) of the Philippines. We are not an agency or subsidiary of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) or the Philippine National Police (PNP).
We collect only the minimum telemetry required to calculate exam results, evaluate domain strengths, and maintain your cadet study progress over time.
Information We Collect
Account Credentials: When creating an account, we record your candidate name, email address, and target academy preference (PMA, PNPA, or Both).
Simulation Telemetry: We record question responses, time spent per exam section, accuracy rates, and mock exam completion timestamps to generate your personal performance dashboard.
Technical Session State: Lightweight session cookies (e.g. pr_session) are used exclusively to maintain your login state. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
Data We Never Collect
No Military or Police Records: We never request, process, or store official military enlistment papers, security clearance files, or physical/medical exam results.
No Financial Data: PhilippinesReviewer is 100% free. We never request credit card numbers, bank account information, or payment credentials.
No Third-Party Monetization: We never sell, rent, or trade cadet user information to advertisers, marketing agencies, or outside organizations.
Data Retention & Cadet Rights
Right to Access: You may view your complete academic profile, exam history, and scoring breakdown at any time via your Cadet Settings and Progress portals.
Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): Cadets retain full sovereignty over their data. You can delete your account at any time via your account settings. Upon deletion, all personal data, mock exam results, and analytics are permanently expunged from our database.
Right to Correction: You can update your display name, target academy, or associated email directly within your settings dashboard.
Security Protocols & Encryption
Modern Cryptography: All candidate traffic is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3).
Credential Protection: Passwords and sensitive session tokens are salted and hashed using cryptographic standards before storage.
Infrastructure Hardening: Automated bot mitigation and rate-limiting protect candidate accounts from brute-force attempts and unauthorized automated scraping.
